Requirements
The board shall consist of seven members, appointed by the Governor with the consent of the Senate, as follows: (a) One member of the state bar (b) One victim of violent crime (c) One licensed physician (d) One representative of law enforcement (e) One mental health care provider (f) Two private citizens The governor may appoint a chair of the board who shall serve for a period of time prescribed by the governor, not to exceed the length of the chair's term.
